HOW DOES IT WORK?

⬢ ARRIVAL: When you arrive you'll have time to browse our Pinterest for design inspiration and decide what pottery you want to paint, while we prep your equipment and wait for everyone to arrive. 

⬢ TUTORIAL & PAINTING: When we’re all ready, there’ll be a short tutorial, you’ll select your pottery and then have around 1 hour 30 minutes to paint your design, with lots of support available!

⬢ FINISHING UP: We’ll give you a 15 minute reminder before the end of the session, so you are ready to pay and leave on time. Need more time? Return within a month for a £5 Studio Fee to complete your piece.

STUDIO RULES

🕝 ARRIVAL; Be on time; please do not arrive before your workshop time as we will be preparing, and please note that the tutorial is given when everyone has arrived, so we will be waiting for you if you are running late.

🪙DEPOSITS; Your £10 deposit covers your £5 Studio Fee + £5 towards your pottery; this is non-refundable, but can be rescheduled if notice is given.

🎨 NON-PAINTERS; Only one per group; a £10 deposit is still paid to secure their seat and cover their £5 studio fee, but the £5 pottery deposit goes towards a painter’s pottery.

🍴 NO FOOD; Grease affects glazing, and safety rules prohibit food in the studio.

🫖 DRINKS; Enjoy Bird & Blend teas and soft drinks from our selection.

🥂 PAINT & SIP; Our 6.30pm - 8.30pm time slot is over 18s only, where you are welcome to bring your own drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic; note: glasses and a corkscrew are available to use in the studio.

🛍️ COLLECTION; – We have a small kiln and one full-time staff member; so pottery usually takes around 2-4 weeks. Need it sooner? Ask about fast-tracking when you settle up.

🌻 DISABILITY; - The studio staff have neurological disabilities. This means sometimes things may take longer than expected, and communication can be disrupted; only attend our studio if you are prepared to be patient and understanding.

please note: we only take bookings up to one month in advance; if your date is not yet available, it will be available from the date one month preceding. e.g. if you want to book May 4th, it will be available to book from April 4th/5th.
